I will still confirm the scheduling and times that I will be opening the CAR on the community calendar.

For now I have reserved the CAR for the remainder of February on Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm.

 

I plan to continue this time until there is some reason I need to cancel a date, or change to another day and time.

My goal is to keep the date and time as consistent and as simple as possible.

 

 

I anticipate that we will be having more players as we go along, so I am starting to think about ways to get everyone involved and to maximize the time and two tables we have available. 

 

A couple of ideas I was thinking:

 

Table 1: Competition play : Winner keeps the table, next waiting plays. After winning 5 successive games, the winner rotates out to the back of the waiting line, and the loser keeps the table. 

 

Table 2: Rotation play : Players rotate in and out to provide equal playing time for everyone waiting to play.

 

This is just a starting suggestion, anticipating that we will have enough players soon to need a "system" for table use!

 

As always, I welcome any and all suggestions, my primary goal is to make sure the room is available at least once per week for ping pong, and to have fun playing.
