Happy New Year kayakers.  I am still out until June but am always available for questions and help with set up.

I am planning 3 away trips this spring.

1.  Cape Fear River at the Bluffs Community.  Bob Conger our former manager lives there and we  are setting up a swap where he brings a group here to use our equipment and we send a group there to use theirs.  He has a rather easy ox bow exploration and longer, lush river trip.

2. Masonboro Island trip.  We have a member who has done this trip previously.  We would transport our kayaks there.

3.  Three Sisters swamp on the Black river.  Bob and I did this this summer.  Amazing!  2000+ old cypress and lush scenery.   This would need to be set up by an agency.  It's a 7 hour trip for $125.

Be sure to join team reach to communicate with your fellow kayakers.  Club Express cannot be used to communicate between individuals.  Ask if you need help. 

Interested in inexpensive trips,  Cape Fear River Watch has a trip one Saturday a month that is well organized and chaperoned.
