2025 Book Suggestions

 

Now is the time to submit your 2025 book suggestions. Here are some pointers so we get a variety of great books to read and discuss in 2025.

 

1. Submit a book you already read. You liked the book, so chances are we will too. And, we ask that you lead at least one club meeting, so it would be one of the books you submitted.

2. Submit a book with about 300-400 pages; anything too long and people don't finish it, anything too short & it doesn't have enough of a story.

3. Try your best to submit a book that has Book Club questions at the end.

4. If you can, check that the book is available at the public library. We have had some books only available to purchase on Amazon at a hefty price. Many people use Libby or Hoopla, but if it is available in hard copy at the New Hanover public library, it will most likely be available online.

5. Lastly, we hope to get enough submissions that a different person leads each month. Once we select our books, we will ask what month works best for the person who submitted the book. Obviously, if something comes up, we'll get a sub for you.
